Week 1 – Get Organized
Your first week as an agent is the perfect time to make a stellar first impression at your new brokerage. We recommend being prepared for the occasion and dressing well so your broker knows you’re ready for business.
Typically, when you first join a brokerage, they will get you set up with their systems and help you get organized. This includes being added to their email system, ordering your business cards, and uploading your headshot and agent bio to their website.

Week 2 – Make Friends In the Business
By week 2 as an agent, you will start to feel like you’re getting acclimated with your brokerage. This is the perfect time to get to know your fellow agents, as they will not only be your colleagues, but can also be great friends and mentors!
Use your second week in the business to introduce yourself to other agents, ask them to grab a coffee, and learn their insider tips and tricks for killing it in real estate.
Week 3 – Spread The Word
Your family, friends, previous colleagues, and social media connections are a great place to start building your client network.
As you are entering the second half of your first 30 days as an agent, start letting people know that you are a real estate agent and are there to help them with all of their real estate needs.
As a real estate agent, social media is the perfect place to advertise your business. During your third week as an agent, make sure your social media presence is professional and get started making posts to let your followers know that you’re an agent.
Week 4 – Get Outside
One of the best parts of being a real estate agent is you get to be outside, on your feet meeting people on a daily basis. During your 4th week as an agent, it’s a good idea to get outside, meet potential clients, and get to know the area you’ll be showing homes in.
